  • રૈયા ચોકડીથી ઈન્દિરાસ સર્કલ સુધી ટ્રાફિકની લાંબી લાઈનો લાગીરાજકોટ:એક દિવસનાં વિરામ બાદ આજે ફરી શહેરમાં ધોધમાર વરસાદ પડી રહ્યો છે.રાજકોટમાં 4 કલાકમાં 6 ઈંચ જેટલો અને 24 કલાકમાં 8 ઈંચ વરસાદ પડ્યો હતો. શહેરમાં વીજળીના કડાકા સાથે ધોધમાર વરસાદ વરસી રહ્યો છે. ભારે વરસાદના પગલે નીચાણવાળા વિસ્તારોમાં પાણી ભરાઈ ગયા હતા. ભારે વરસાદનાં કારણે ગરનાળા પણ બંધ થઈ ગયા છે. તેમજ અનેક વિસ્તારોમાં પાણી ભરાયા છે. તેમજ આજી-2 ડેમમાં પૂર આવતા 5 દરવાજા ખોલવામાં આવ્યા છે.ONE and a half inches of rain in Rajkot, heavy trafficONE and a half inches of rain in Rajkot, heavy trafficONE and a half inches of rain in Rajkot, heavy trafficONE and a half inches of rain in Rajkot, heavy traffic

    છેલ્લા 24 કલાકમાં કયા વિસ્તારમાં કેટલો વરસાદ

    છેલ્લા 24 કલાકમાં હોસ્પિટલ ચોકમાં 4 ઈંચ, માધાપર ચોકડીમાં માત્ર 4 મિમિ, સોરઠીયાવાડીમાં એક ઈંચ, નાના મૌવા સર્કલમાં સાડા પાંચ ઈચ અને પ્રદ્યુમન પાર્કમાં 8 ઈંચ વરસાદ પડ્યો છે.

    ત્રિકોણબાગ, કાલાવડ રોડ અને માલવિયા કોલેજ પાસેના વિસ્તારોમાં પાણી ભરાયા

    શહેરમાં આવેલા માલવિયા કોલેજ પાસેના વિસ્તારમાં રસ્તા પર બે ફૂટ જેટલુ પાણી ભરાયું છે. તો શહેરના અન્ય વિસ્તાર જેવા કે યાજ્ઞિક રોડ, કાલાવડ રોડ, ત્રિકોણબાગ સહિતના વિસ્તારોમાં રસ્તા પર પાણી ભરાયા છે. તો અહીં આવેલી આજી નદી બે કાંઠે વહી રહી છે.

    ભારે વરસાદના પગલે ટ્રાફિકજામ
    150 ફૂટ રિંગ રોડ પર ભારે વરસાદનાં પગલે ઠેર-ઠેર ટ્રાફિકજામનાં દ્રશ્યો જોવા મળ્યા હતા. રૈયા ચોકડીથી ઈન્દિરાસ સર્કલ સુધી ટ્રાફિકની લાંબી લાઈનો લાગી છે. આ સાથે જ મવડી ચોકમાં વધારે પાણી ભરાતાં કાર પાણીમાં ફસાઈ હતી. આ સાથે જ નિચાણવાળા વિસ્તારોમાં પાણી ભરાઈ જતાં લોકોને હાલાકીનો સામનો કરવો પડી રહ્યો છે.

    આજી ડેમના 5 દરવાજા ખોલવામાં આવ્યા
    શહેરમાં ભારે વરસાદના કારણે આજી ડેમ-2ના 5 દરવાજા ખોલવામાં આવ્યા છે. વરસાદના પગલે વધુ પાણીની આવક થતાં સિંચાઈ વિભાગે દરવાજા ખોલવાનો નિર્ણય કર્યો છે. આ સાથે જ નીચાણવાળા વિસ્તારોમાં એલર્ટ આપવામાં આવ્યું છે.
