ટ્રેડિશન / આર.કે. સ્ટુડિયો વેચાયો અને કપૂર પરિવારની 70 વર્ષની પરંપરા તૂટી, હવે ગણેશોત્સવ નહીં મનાવે

બોલિવૂડ ડેસ્ક: કપૂર પરિવારે તેમની 70 વર્ષ જૂની ગણેશોત્સવ મનાવવાની પરંપરાને તોડવાનું નક્કી કર્યું છે. રિપોર્ટ્સ મુજબ રણધીર કપૂરે ગયા વર્ષના ગણેશોત્સવની ઊજવણીને આખરી ઊજવણી ગણાવી હતી. હવે આ વર્ષથી ઊજવણીની પરંપરાનો અંત આવશે. અંદાજે 70 વર્ષ પહેલાં રાજ કપૂરે આ ઊજવણીની શરૂઆત આર.કે. સ્ટુડિયોમાં કરી હતી જ્યાં દર વર્ષે મોટી સંખ્યામાં લોકો દર્શન કરવા માટે આવતા હતા. તે મુંબઈના સારાં ગણેશોત્સવ સેલિબ્રેશનમાંનું એક હતું.

સેલિબ્રેશન બંધ કરવાનું કારણ 
રિપોર્ટ્સ મુજબ, રણધીર કપૂરે સેલિબ્રેશન બંધ કરવાનું કારણ જણાવતા કહ્યું હતું કે આર.કે. સ્ટુડિયો તૂટ્યા બાદ તેમની પાસે ગણેશોત્સવ મનાવવા માટે બીજી કોઈ જગ્યા ન હતી. માટે તેઓ તેમના પિતાએ શરૂ કરેલ પ્રથાને બંધ કરી રહ્યા છે. તેમણે કહ્યું કે, ‘અમે બધા બાપ્પાને ઘણો પ્રેમ કરીએ છીએ અને અમને તેમનામાં અતૂટ વિશ્વાસ પણ છે. પણ મને લાગે છે હવે અમે આ ટ્રેડિશનને આગળ નહીં લઇ જઈ શકીએ.’

આ મહિને સ્ટુડિયો તોડવામાં આવ્યો 
1948માં રાજ કપૂરે આર.કે. ફિલ્મ્સ એન્ડ સ્ટુડિયોઝની સ્થાપના કરી હતી. ત્યાં ‘આવરા’, ‘મેરા નામ જોકર’ જેવી પોપ્યુલર ફિલ્મોના શૂટિંગ થયાં હતાં. 2017માં સ્ટુડિયોમાં આગ લાગી હતી જેમાં તેનો ઘણો બધો હિસ્સો બળી ગયો હતો. 2018માં કપૂર પરિવારે તેને વેચવાનો નિર્ણય લીધો. ગોદરેજ પ્રોપર્ટીઝે આ સ્ટુડિયો ખરીદી લીધો છે.
